Training sessions are tailored to suit your experience and requirements. All training is conducted at Eshott Airfield (NE65 9QJ), embracing the heritage of elementary flight training to enhance your piloting skills.
Once you've progressed through our courses you'll have the opportunity to join the Tiger Flight and self-fly hire our Tiger Moths.
Tailwheel Differences
Our instructors have a wealth of experience flying and teaching in tailwheel aircraft. This course will be tailored to you depending on your previous flying experience.
Tiger Moth Conversion
If you’d like to handle and fly a classic biplane, take off and land on grass runways, dealing with crosswinds, then this course is for you. It will improve your technique, skillset and abilities.
Formation Flying
A brilliant way to learn the ultimate in teamwork, formation flying will stretch you as a pilot. You’ll feel a great sense of achievement leading or taking part in a formation.
The Tiger Flight
Once you’ve progressed through our courses, you’ll have the opportunity to join The Tiger Flight, giving you unique access to self-fly hire our Tiger Moths, joining and supporting a special community of fellow aviators.
