Trial Lessons
As an introduction to flying in the open cockpit of a classic aircraft, a trial lesson gives you an unrivalled opportunity to fly over our stunning coast and most famous landmarks. Students will fly with an experienced instructor who’ll brief you and encourage you to take the controls. This can be logged and counts towards a licence.
Private Pilot Licence and Light Aircraft Pilot Licence
Getting your Private Pilot’s Licence (PPL) or Light Aircraft Pilot’s Licence (LAPL) in a Tiger Moth gives you an excellent foundation in the basics of flying.
It won’t be the easiest or fastest option compared to flying modern aircraft, but you’ll become a more capable, confident pilot if you do.
You’ll need to complete a minimum of 45 hours flying time for your PPL and 30 hours for your LAPL.
